Aviation Walk
Spring is here and baseball is coming back! We are wrapping up construction at LP Frans Stadium. This is the first section of the Aviation Walk to be completed so we are moving out as the 2022 Crawdads Teams is moving in. Work done to this area includes the grading and utlities of the walking trail, paving along the front of LP Frans Stadium, as well as new brick crosswalks from the parking lot to the front gate.
Along with the work being done at LP Frans Stadium, we are also grading along 9th Ave Dr NW. This will be the section of the Aviation Walk that stretches up to the HIckory Regional Airport. There will be seating throughout this section to allow walkers to sit and watch as airplanes take off. While there you can visit the Aviation Museum. Be sure to check out the Aviation Walk when you attend a game this summer and check in on social media for more updates to come!
Everything Attachments
The Everything Attachments expansion is fully underway as Down Construction is siding and roofing the 105,000 sq.ft. structure. Along with the construction of the building, our crew continues to work on the utilities for the project. We are excited to continue progress one this great expansion for Conover, NC.
Shurtape Technologies, LLC.
We are moving back in! Equipment is on its way to the Shurtape Distribution Center in Catawba, NC. This will be our third project with Shurtape Technologies, LLC. The expansion project will include the grading and utilities for the site which includes our crew moving 200,000 cubic yards of dirt. Check back in for more updates as we break ground and get to work!
